Haven't Decided What Halloween Costumes You Want This Year?

With their current popularity, it seems everyone is going as Iron Man, Indiana Jones, or the Joker for this Halloween season. Why not add some originality to your costume by going as something different? Even if you don't know the first thing about sewing your own costumes, you can show up looking as ghoulish or as hilarious as you want-and a step above the competition-when you shop online for your Halloween costume.

Whereas most retail stores or costume shops carry a limited selection of Halloween costumes, online vendors have a much larger and more colorful offering. Buying your Halloween costumes online can also be extremely convenient and even more affordable than the hectic, overpriced Halloween superstores. For these reasons, it's no wonder many people choose to purchase their Halloween costumes online.

With the wide selection of costumes to choose from online, how do you choose what to go as this Halloween? There are several interesting costume ideas for Halloween to consider. You can dress up to scare with dark costume ideas like "Sinister Minister" and "Tinker Hell;" or go for some laughs with "Fat Dracula" and the "Plug and Socket" costumes for couples. If you're in the mood for TV and movie themes, don't pass up the opportunity to dress as Jack Skellington, 1960s Batman, or Jack Sparrows from Pirates of the Caribbean. You may even want to give your costume an historical edge with renaissance costumes or military garb.

No matter the costume you choose, if you really want to be the talk of Halloween this season, shop online so you can find a deal to scream about.

One resource for finding great ideas and purchasing Halloween costumes online is StarCostumes.com. The site offers costumes in many sizes, including selections for plus size individuals and children. Star Costumes offers full costumes, holiday costumes, fun and sexy costumes, many special effects and props and the low prices for clearance items.

Christmas - The Ideal Christmas Dinner

It's Christmas Day and you're having the family over for dinner. The only thing you can think of is how much work you're going to have to put into this thing. Even a guest list of eight can be a real chore to cook for. And the last thing you want is for your family to go home grumbling about how bad the meal was, especially if some of those family members are in-laws. This may be your one chance to really make a good impression. But how do you do this without having to hire a high priced chef?

Well, believe it or not, there are Christmas dinners that you can prepare that are easy, inexpensive and tasty enough to send your guests home with a full stomach and a smile on their faces. If you think it can't possibly be that simple, keep reading because this is one easy to make dinner.

The first thing you have to do is break your dinner down into courses; the more the better. Guests who get a lot of food tend to be easily pleased because they feel they are getting a lot for their money. And heaven knows there are plenty of course you can dish out at a meal such as appetizer, soup, salad, etc. So where do we begin?

Starting with the appetizer, the best way to impress your guests is with a nice shrimp cocktail. Don't get those skimpy, skinny shrimp. Get the ones that are thick and long and meaty. This is a great ice breaker and will get your dinner off on more than the right foot. Don't worry about getting any fancy cocktail sauce. They're all pretty much the same. The shrimp alone, if it's good, will sell them.

Next you want a nice soup. Pick something a little fancier than a plain chicken soup. Maybe cream of chicken or cream of mushroom. Make sure that you have lots of saltine crackers to go with the soup. Serve the soup in a large bowl, not a cup. Again, you want to give your guests a lot to eat. The soup itself can even be out of a can. You don't have to make it homemade.

For salad, keep it simple. A nice green salad of lettuce, carrots, mushrooms and tomatoes will be fine. The whole key to the salad is the dressing. Make sure you have a number of dressings on the table for them to choose from. Don't put the dressing in the salad. Some people like Italian, some don't. Give them a choice. This will make them feel special that you were this thoughtful.

For the main dish, nobody likes anything more than a nice turkey. Turkey's are fool proof to cook these days with their built in little pop up timers. Make sure you have plenty of stuffing to go with it and of course cranberry sauce. Leaving out the cranberry sauce is like asking for daggers aimed at your heart. Along with the main dish, make sure you have a couple of hot vegetables like corn, green beans, carrots and cauliflower.

Finally, you want to have several desserts for your guests to choose from. A couple of pies and a cake should do fine. And of course you want two pots of coffee. One regular and one decaf. Not everybody wants to be on a caffeine high, especially if they're elderly.

By following these simple tips you are sure to have a Christmas dinner that everybody is sure to enjoy.

Little Lamb Infant Halloween Costume (Infant (6-18 Months))

Little Lamb includes jumpsuit, hood, and footies. Available in Infant size (6-18 months).
Customer Review: Adorable hat - not the best quality
The hat with the ears is adorable on. It was actually a bit too small for my 11 month old's head though, so we had to do some sewing, but it is supposed to be a snug fit - and it looks very cute. The quality isn't great, and will probably fall apart in the wash, so I will have to be super careful. The feet are huge, but maybe they are supposed to be worn with shoes under them. I would probably buy this again, but it's not worth $40. Maybe $20.

Here are some Christmas Holidays from around the world. If you haven't decided what to do for this Holiday Season you might find some inspiration here.

Visiting a major City at Christmas can be a very exciting holiday for a couple or a family. There will be plenty to do and sights to see. Two favourite destinations at Christmas are New York City or on the other side of the Atlantic is London, England.

London is of course a world famous city to start with. There are an amazing number of sights to see even before you start looking at all the special events for Christmas. After the regular sightseeing, Buckingham Palace, Changing of the Guard, Tower of London, Kensington Palace, Hyde Park, The Crown Jewels, The London Eye, etc you can settle down and plan which festive sights to see in the run up to Christmas itself.

No visit to London is complete without a visit to the West End to enjoy a show at one of its famous Theatres. While there you might even try a visit to a Pantomime which is a traditional British Christmas event.

Shopping is a major event in all cities at Christmas time and London is no exception. The lights and window displays in Regent Street and Oxford Street are worth a visit in themselves add all the wonderful stores and restaurants and you have a great day out.

There are Christmas Trees to see, Christmas Markets and Fairs, museums, galleries, attractions, restaurants, palaces and castles, parks and zoos and so much more. London would be a fabulous city in which to spend Christmas.

New York is one of the most exciting places in the world. Christmas in New York must rank highly as a favourite destination. First class hotels and restaurants. Fabulous shopping. An abundance of attractions from the Empire State Building, The Statue of Liberty to museums, galleries, historic sites,Ellis Island, Wall Street, Central Park and so much more. There are fine restaurants, theaters, clubs and bars all dressed up for Christmas and ready to give you the time of your life.

Niagara Falls, Canada is another fabulous place for a Christmas Holiday. The Festival of Light is held during the Christmas Season. Niagara Falls and the surrounding area is transformed into an illuminated winter wonderland to the delight of the expected 1.3 million visitors. In addition to the illuminated Falls, there are 125 animated lighting displays and 3 million tree and ground lights along the 5Km of the Niagara Parkway. These imaginative displays include the world's largest Canadian Flag, Disney Classics and "Twas the Night before Christmas," an audio-visual spectacular. There are also the firework displays over the mighty falls. This is in addition to the already beautiful and exciting Falls themselves and the other Niagara Falls attractions. The "Maid of the Mist" boat trip, the Daredevil Museum, the Skylon Tower, the Cirque Niagara, Aquarium, Museums, shops, restaurants, bars, clubs and family attractions. This is a year round favourite holiday destination for honeymooners, couples and families but Christmas in Niagara Falls is an extra special experience.

Europe has some marvelous places in which to spend Christmas. Paris for a romantic Christmas. Lapland for an exciting children's Christmas visiting Santa Claus. Sweden and its Ice Hotel for a very adventurous Christmas. The ski resorts of Austria for a traditional white Christmas, with skiing, snowboarding, log fires, mulled wine and delicious food.

Or you could chose a very untraditional Christmas and head for the sun. Australia has Christmas during its summer. All the festivities and sunshine, sandy beaches and a barbeque thrown in.

Finally right down to the bottom of the world. How about Antarctica for a Christmas adventure. Stay aboard an ice breaker and learn all about Antarctica and its wildlife. This would be a truly different way to spend Christmas, watching penguins at play and possibly seals and whales too, seeing magnificent icebergs and the awe inspiring scenery of the Antarctic.

From shopping for Christmas presents in a busy city to watching the sun set over the snow and ice there are so many wonderful and exciting places to visit around the world this Christmas.

If you're looking for a sexy Halloween costume, companies are making more and more each year. From naughty nurses to nasty witches, there are many choices for people seeking a sexy costume for Halloween.

Here are some of the most popular sexy costumes to make you look your best!

Office tramp costumes usually include pinstripe and knit chiffon camisole with shirred cup detail. Include a ruffle back skirt, neck tie, and thong and you'll be sure to turn on those who enjoy office women.

Most people don't think Minnie Mouse is sexy. Make a red and white polka dot short dress with cute mouse ears and you have a very sexy costume.

Snow white has always been considered sexy. You can make it even sexier with a mini dress and headband with bow.

A Greek goddess costume is sexy for both men looking at the costume and the women wearing it. Aphrodite was the goddess of love, beauty, and sexual reproduction so it is no surprise what an impact a Greek goddess costume can make.

The nurse costume is the quintessential sexy outfit for women. There are many sexy nurse outfits including 3 piece dresses, 4 piece darge costumes, and apron and matching nurse cap costumes. Men love a sexy nurse that knows how to take care of them and treat them just right.

Often we watch as the holiday season races by us. All too often our holidays a simply a blur. Our Christmas memories seem to be past before you know it.

Last year a family was intent on creating a Christmas Memory for the whole family. We are going to do it this year! But then, the kids had practice for the programs and the weather of course did not cooperate. By the time Christmas was right around the corner the parents realized that shopping needed to be done. Sound familiar?

So what about this year? What are you going to do different?

Well I suggest you start a simple list of activities you want to do during the Holiday Season. Did you notice I said SIMPLE! Start your shopping now. Even better start your shopping just after Christmas. Have you heard the word sale?

By making a simple list of activities you are starting to think about the things that you really want to do. Many people make the mistake of putting 60 items on a 30 day list. Remember this is to help you plan and relieve the stress.

The holidays are to be fun! Go out and look at the decorations down town for example. My home town has the stores lighted up with many Holiday displays and Christmas music is playing outside. This is not a time for shopping. Just take in the beauty of the holidays and look around you at the wonderful sites. So, just when was the last time you did that?

Make this Holiday Season one to remember. Relax and have fun with your loved ones. See the sights and enjoy the Holidays. These are what a Christmas Memory is all about.

Also remember those that are less fortunate. Take time to bring them some Holiday Cheer. Try it. You will be amazed how this simple thing will make this Holiday season one to remember for a very long time.

http://www.MagicalChristmasIdeas.com/ For so many of us the Holidays have become too hectic and stressful. What do you say if we can change all that. Accessories can really enhance the overall "look and feel" of a particular costume. In this article, I will share with you where to find accessories for easy Halloween costumes for the frugal minded family. If you like to save cash and maximize resources, you will find this very beneficial.

You can use curtains, towels, cloths, old pillow cases, toys, costume jewelry, kitchen accessories, and a wide array of other items! There is no limitation on the creativity that can be experienced by using normal, every day, common household items! In addition to looking for items inside the home, you can quite likely discover items outside the home as well.

Check out your garage, your storage sheds, and any other area where things are stored and you can stumble upon some pretty interesting items to help accessorize the Halloween costumes that you are creating.

Sexy Suede Indian Halter Dress for Halloween Costume

Sexy Indian Princess Adult costumes for a Sexy look that will be a huge hit this Halloween!! An American Indian Costume is guaranteed to make this Halloween one to remember!!

Are you set on going with a Joker Mask for Halloween? If so, you'll find that it is definitely a great costume to consider. With the popularity of The Dark Knight, many people are considering this type of a costume this Halloween.

While the movie was definitely popular and it really brought to life the characters within it, you'll find that the Joker just about stole the limelight from Batman in the movie despite being the bad guy. Here are a few tips that will help you to choose the perfect Joker Mask this year.

Tip 1 - Pick a Mask That Flatters Your Personality - When you are trying to pick out the right Joker Mask for Halloween, you'll want to pick out a mask that flatters your personality. If you happen to be more of a ladies man in an evil sort of way, then consider going with the mask from the Caesar Romero character, who was elegant and known as quite the ladies man.

Of course he later went on to be on the wanted list of Gotham City, but he still had charmed the ladies at one time. On the other hand, if you have a dark side and you're a bit twisted, then the latest Joker portrayed by Heath Ledger could be the perfect choice. It definitely portrays the aspect of horror and the twisted side of evil.

Tip 2 - Find a Mask with Hair - Another thing to remember when choosing your Joker mask is to try to find one that has hair with it. It can be difficult to replicate the joker hair on your own, and you probably won't want to have to purchase a wig too. So, look for the masks that come with the hair attached to them so you get the entire look for one price.

Tip 3 - See if It Comes with a Costume - While the mask could stand alone as your get up added clothing will definitely help you complete the look. While it is relatively easy to come up with some great costume choices from eccentric pieces of clothing from your closet, if you can get the mask with the accompanying accessories you'll go a long way to becoming the center of attention at your Halloween party.

Tip 4 - Compare Prices - Before you decide to buy the Joker Mask for Halloween or the rest of the costume, you may want to compare prices first. There are many sites online that offer costumes and masks but be sure to shop around. While it won't cost you and arm and a leg one of the major cost factors could be shipping and this is where you will want to pay attention to the prices being offered.

Lowest prices ever on Joker Mask for Halloween. Grab yours now while they last at Joker Masks for Halloween. Better hurry because supplies are limited.

Smoking Jacket Halloween Costume Set

Includes robe and pipe; 2-piece set. Polyester. Imported. One size fits most adults. (Scarf not included.) One size fits most.

Christmas is such a joyous time of the year full of laughter, love, and plenty of good cheer, but it's also a time for plenty of decorating, both inside and outside the home. Many people feel stressed out and unable to truly enjoy the season with all of the things that need to be done, the shopping, the baking, cleaning, the parties, and of course, decorating the house, and even dread the upcoming Christmas holiday.

Instead of allowing yourself to feel frazzled and out of sorts, here are a few simple ideas to consider that will help make your Christmas decorating a breeze:

Christmas Bows, Bows and More Bows

You can never go wrong with bows and ribbons at Christmas time. Make your own or buy them in packs and be generous in your placement of them. Add bows to the corners of windows and the mantle, on the draperies, the backs of chairs, on candlesticks, on basket handles, the stair railings, within garland, and of course, on the Christmas tree. If you are making your own, choose a ribbon that you can easily open after making your bows so that you can untie and store them flat until next year.

Choosing a Christmas Decoration Color Scheme

Choosing the perfect color scheme for your Christmas decorations is one of the best parts of the entire holiday decorating process. Some people choose to follow one specific theme to unify all of their decorations, while others settle on certain colors to use.

For a truly nostalgic feel, use colors you remember from your childhood Christmases. Perhaps your house was always decorated in silver and blue, or maybe there's a certain special memory you could draw upon to find the perfect colors for your holiday decorating. If you loved candy canes as a child, decorate in all white and red, or maybe you have a favorite quilt or piece of fabric you can use for inspiration.

Just about any type of colors work well for Christmas and if you're hard pressed for ideas, follow the existing theme of your home's color scheme and add a complementary color or two to bring the holiday feeling alive.

Less is More

If you think you need to spend a fortune decorating the inside of your house for Christmas, think again as sometimes less is definitely more. Having a space filled with all different types of decorations and colors is often overwhelming and tends to look cluttered.

Besides the Christmas tree, choose one another focal point in the room, or an adjacent room, to spruce up for the holidays. Add candles to the windows or on the mantle, and instead of adding more decorations to the walls, cover your pictures with pretty wrapping paper that matches your color scheme.

For the outside, place a wreath on your front door along with a festive welcome mat and a few strands of lights strung across the porch, around the front windows, or along the railings. To save money, make or buy an artificial wreath that you can reuse year after year, adding a few extra embellishments to change it's overall look.

Christmas Shopping at Home

You may be pleasantly surprised at what you'll find stored away and long forgotten in the attic or basement, or simply just lying around the house. Once you've settled on a specific color theme of two or three colors to use for decorating, take a trip around the house, from top to bottom, and "borrow" whatever you can find to use to decorate for Christmas. A grouping of candles, special placemats and tablecloths, and figurines or knickknacks can all add to your holiday dcor.

You will be welcome at the christmastreesus.com web site to search for your outdoor Christmas lights, real and fake trees, and many other Christmas decor items for your perfect holiday season display.

Customer Review: Great Costume
This costume was in great condition and was a hit at our party!!! Seller very easy to work with.

Most homes will also be supplied with Christmas trees, colored lights and paper or plastic decorations around the rooms. It is also a time when everyone is thinking of new ideas for their X-Mas style home and yard. Your decorations should have a unique feel to them and you should do something that nobody else in your neighborhood has thought of.

What I suggest is in November: start having a search around the internet for ideas of where are the best places to buy.

Create your own top Gifts list among the most typical presents: CDs, Chocolate, Games & Puzzles, Toys, Activity Gifts, Hampers or stuff for the house. The last day to put up decorations is, in my opinion, Christmas Eve or the date of your Christmas party (if you're having one), whichever is earlier. The Internet is a great source of animated outdoor for Christmas.

There are many ways of turning into the spirit of Christmas. Star by decorating and developing some creative ideas of your own. Thus, you personalize your Christmas ornaments. You can order a few ornaments with each family members name on them and place them on the tree - just imagine the delight when they view your tree! Also, I strongly suggest adding an Ivy or Holly to the bottom of your candles is an essential item for a festive touch. Decorating around your mirrors and mantles turns your room into a magical wonderland land!

Choose a scheme of colors for your Christmas table, white and gold always make great colors as they seem to go with the general Christmas cheer.

Trying to decide how to choose the best baby costume for Halloween? Want to make certain your little one is as comfortable as she is adorable? Then you've come to the right place! In this article we want to talk to you about choosing the best baby Halloween costumes for your little dear, as well point out a few examples of great baby Halloween costumes created by Tom Arma - the king of comfort and cute when it comes to infant Halloween costumes.

Choose Comfort First

Probably the biggest mistake parents make when choosing a baby costume for Halloween is grabbing the first adorable costume they find with little regard to how comfortable their child is going to be. The absolute first thing you must remember when choosing a baby costume for Halloween is that your infant is not yet old enough to understand why he or she is being paraded about in such uncomfortable clothes, and if you've chosen the wrong sort of costume for her - you'll spend more time trying to comfort a crying baby than you will getting those great pictures of her first trick or treating experience.

Try to choose baby costumes for Halloween which are made to feel like pajamas instead of being binding for your child. Even if he or she sleeps through the entire experience, at least you'll have the peace of mind knowing that she's comfortable as well as cute. Also, a lot of parents forget that Halloween is typically a pretty cold night, so be sure to choose a Halloween costume for your baby that will keep her snug and warm.

Costume Safety

Another thing that's easy to forget when choosing the right baby Halloween costume is that many costumes have extremely small pieces attached to them, or masks and other such accessories, which aren't safe for babies. It's important that you remember to choose a costume which is (preferably) one piece, and doesn't have any parts that baby can pull off and swallow accidentally.

It's also important to remember that masks, makeup, and other props don't have any business being on a baby's Halloween costume. These are for older children and adults only, as they pose a serious safety threat to infants and toddlers. No matter how cute a costume may look when it's hanging in the store, it's more important that your child is safe when she puts it on.

Tom Arma Halloween Costumes

Now that you know how to choose the best baby Halloween costumes, you're probably wondering where to find the best costumes for your little one. One of the most amazing designers of baby Halloween costumes is Tom Arma. His animal baby costumes are as comfortable and safe as they are adorable; and they are priced affordable enough for almost any budget. In addition to providing your baby with a great experience for her first Halloween, Tom Arma's baby Halloween costumes are excellent for photography, as well.

As you can see, ensuring that your baby has a fun and safe Halloween is really quite simple. All you need to do is remember that comfort and safety are the most important parts of choosing a baby Halloween costume, and your little one will be sure to have a great first trick or treating experience!

Rocky Horror Picture Show-Magenta Adult Costume

The energy of this Christmas season has been interesting. Christmas has always been one of my favorite times of the year. I love the lights and displays that everyone decorates with, the music and the love that people express at this time of year.

This Christmas is entirely different. Though people seem to be decorating more this year than in past years, the enjoyment of it is not there. The stores have very little in them and I have not heard one person wish anyone a 'Happy Holiday'.

I love window shopping, just walking around looking at what is available. This year, window shopping is very depressing. I walk around the stores and feel such sadness and depression. When I first experienced this, I thought it was because this is our first Christmas without Samantha. But, I soon realized that this was not it. I was feeling the energy that was being left in the stores by other shoppers.

People are so sad and depressed this Christmas. We are finding no joy in the Holidays this year. I have been meditating on this and realize why this is so.

Christmas is a very third dimensional Holiday. It is extremely stressful. People put lots of stress on themselves to find the perfect, most expensive present possible. They spend time with family that they usually avoid most of the year. They max out their credit cards and eat until they are miserable. This is all very unspiritual.

Humanity is now moving into the fourth and fifth dimensions. There is no place in these higher dimensions for materialism such as Christmas represents. These higher dimensions are places of Love and Peace. Our third dimensional Christmas does not represent either of those qualities. We must move past the materialism and into a more spiritual based honoring of this Holiday Season.

The Christmas Season occurs at the time of the Winter Solstice. The Winter Solstice is the longest night of the year. It is the time when the Earth is about to be reborn and the days become longer. It is a time of letting go of the old and beginning anew. This is the time of new beginnings, a New Year when we can create a New Reality.

These are the concepts of the Holiday Season that we will be celebrating in the higher dimensions. These are the more spiritual qualities that we will be embracing during the holidays in years to come.

So, take some of the stress off of yourself this Holiday Season. Step out of the third dimensional Holiday Season and into the fifth dimensional Holiday Season. Let go of the stress and disappointment you have experienced in 2006 and move into 2007 with a heart filled with Hope for the future, Joy to be alive, and Peace on Earth.

Child's Toddler Elvis Jumpsuit Halloween Costume (1-2T)

Customer Review: Toddler Elvis Costume
This costume was even cuter in person, and especially on my little boy. Thanks to this costume, he was a huge hit on Halloween!!

Maybe your significant other is overseas in the military. Maybe you have suffered a recent divorce. Whatever the reason, you may find yourself alone this Valentines Day. Does this mean you should sit at home feeling sorry for yourself? I think not. Here are some ideas for people who find themselves alone this year.

1. Take yourself out.

Who says you have to have a member of the opposite sex take you out? I do not see anything wrong with getting all dressed up to go out with the person you should have the most fun with, you. So go put on your best dress or suit and have a night on the town by yourself. At least you wont spend the whole night worrying about whether or not you have salad in your teeth.

2. Go out with your other single friends.

Im sure that you have some other friends that are in the same predicament you are in. Why not call up one of your friends that you havent seen in a while and go out with him or her. I am sure that your friend will appreciate you thinking about him or her.

3. Volunteer at a non-profit.

Sometimes the best way to stop feeling sorry for yourself is to help someone less fortunate. I am sure that there are plenty of nonprofits in your area that would LOVE to have you volunteer for the day. Just type in non-profit organization or volunteer opportunity in your search engine to find an opportunity near you.

4. Offer to baby-sit.

I cant think of a better way to help out a young family with kids than to offer to baby-sit for them so they can enjoy their night out. I mean you werent going to do anything else besides sit at home and wallow in your self-pity, anyway. This way they can owe you one.

5. Send yourself flowers and candy.

Just go to one of the online florists and order a bouquet of flowers and candy sent to yourself. If you could have them sent to your office at work that would be even better. You could even have the card addressed, From Your Secret Admirer. You could act all surprised and wonder who in the world could have done such a nice thing.

6. Adopt a soldier and send him/her a Valentines Day card.

There are several sites online that have resources for you to help American soldiers. http://www.noanie.com is an example of one of these types of sites. I am not affiliated with this website at all, I just wanted to list it here so you could find an address to send your valentines day cards to.

Being alone at Valentines Day doesnt have to be the end of the world. If youre creative, you can find ways to make this day a bearable, maybe even a memorable experience.

With its laid back charm and great weather, Halloween in San Diego is a truly unique experience. This year in particular, it seems that the entire city has gotten into the spirit of Halloween.

Wondering what family-friendly Halloween events are going on in and around San Diego this Halloween? Read on for a list of 7 Things To Do in San Diego With Kids this Halloween:

  1. Go Brick-or-Treating at Legoland, California - Legoland hosts safe trick-or-treating on the Brick-or-Treat Trail, and has added a new Halloween event; Brick-or-Treat Party Nights, full of special Halloween events, entertainment and contests. Here's an inside tip: As you stroll through Legoland this Halloween, keep your eyes open for subtle and not-so-subtle Halloween themed Lego creations throughout the Park.
  2. Halloween Spooktacular at SeaWorld San Diego - Making its debut this year is a special Halloween inspired event at SeaWorld San Diego. Come in costume and enjoy special Halloween performances, costumed characters (including Sesame Street characters!) and trick-or-treating among a sea-inspired atmosphere.
  3. Visit a Pumpkin Patch - Visit one of the many pumpkin patches in and around San Diego. Bates Nut Farm, located just north of San Diego is a personal favorite, and is always a hit with the preschool set. Highlights at Bates Nut Farm include a straw maze, hayride, petting zoo, scarecrow and costume contests, and of course, a pumpkin patch!
  4. Say "Boo" at the San Diego Zoo - Spend Halloween at the San Diego Zoo's Boo at the Zoo program, a unique, safe, trick-or-treating event for the whole family. At Boo at the Zoo, guests can make their own trick-or-treat bag, then seek out goodies and meet some not-so-scary critters while strolling down Creepy Crawler Lane. Guests can also cast a web and catch a prize at the Spider Station, see and touch animal skulls and skeletons, and enjoy other family friendly activities. Costumes are encouraged!
  5. Wild Animal Park's Pumpkins at the Park - Also new this year is the Wild Animal Park's Pumpkins at the Park event. The Wild Animal Park transforms into a safe, family friendly Halloween adventure with a trick-or-treating scavenger hunt, an Extinct Animal Graveyard, eerie entertainment, pumpkin decorating and scarecrow stuffing demonstrations, spooky animal encounters, a Conservation Cupcake Walk and Costume Contest. (Oh, and the lions are pretty cool too!)
  6. Haunted Birch Aquarium - Catch a glimpse of bioluminescence from the sea in the Hall of Fishes, journey down a pumpkin patch, have fun with water games, live music, snacks and trick-or-treating.
  7. Catch an Un-Scary Puppet Show - The Marie Hitchcock Puppet Theater in Balboa Park presents two Halloween inspired puppet shows: something's funny about the magic potion conjured up by a witch who wants to change her ways in Witches Brew; and Tommy the Ghost needs your help getting ready for the big night in The Polka Dot Ghost.

Happy Halloween, San Diego!

Lil' Penguin Elite Collection Infant/Toddler Costume

Too old for ghosts in white sheets? Take terror to the next level with these Halloween party ideas for teenagers!

Make Sure Your Digs Are Spooky!

For a killer Halloween party, the first thing you gotta do is set your scene. The cheapest and easiest way to do this is to light lots and lots of candles. This creates an eerie ambience of flickering light and moving shadows.

Next, put out a few well-placed props. Drape your furniture in black, gray and blood red sheets, or use any dark or gauzy material you can find. Most costume shops, drugstores and dollar stores sell packages of fake cobwebs to stretch out in corners, in doorframes and over furniture. 'Bloody' knives, scythes, scary masks, rubber rats and spiders, dismembered body parts and signature props from scary movies (Jason's goalie mask, Freddy's fedora, Candyman's hook hand) can be found at Halloween shops, or use your imagination to build your own Halloween party props!

If you have a guest list, 'build' a tombstone for each guest. Cut out pieces of cardboard into tombstone shapes, spray paint them gray, 'age' them with a few light sprays of black spray paint and write a funny or fearsome epitaph for each of your friends. It's scary to see your own tombstone!

Once your Halloween party house looks scary it's time to make it sound scary, too. Look for free downloads, or borrow your friends' music collections to compile a spooky Halloween party soundtrack.

There are hundreds of songs to suit your Halloween theme. Here are just a few suggestions (warning, these are not your parents' Halloween pop classics!):

1. The "Halloween" theme song (teenagers love Rob Zombie's 2007 version)
2. "People Are Strange" by the Doors
3. "Psycho Killer" by the Talking Heads
4. "Waltz in Black" by the Stranglers
5. "Bela Lugosi's Dead" by Bauhaus
6. "Let There Be More Darkness" by Robyn Hitchcock
7. "Teenagers" by My Chemical Romance

Pumpkin Carving Contest

One reason this is such a great Halloween party idea for teenagers is teens love to make a mess! Be sure to hold your contest in a room with floors you can mop, away from the good furniture! For easy cleanup, line your work area with newspapers!

1. Here's what you'll need: enough pumpkins that each guest or pair of guests can carve one; tablespoons; as many fine felt markers (or pens) and paring knives as you can 'scare' up; 2-3 large bowls (for pumpkin 'guts'); tea lights or short candles.

2. Draw circles around your pumpkin stems, large enough for your hand to fit through when the holes are cut. Cut along the edge of each circle, making sure to angle your cut so that the 'lids' will not fall through the holes.

3. Using tablespoons, scrape out the pumpkin seeds and guts, putting them into the bowls provided.

4. Let your guests draw and cut out whatever designs they want for their Jack o' Lanterns.

5. Once everyone is finished, place candles into the Jack o' Lanterns and light them. Vote for the scariest, most original and best-made Jack o' Lanterns. Be sure to have some small prizes ready for the winners!

Once your pumpkins are gutted, rinse the pulp and juice from the pumpkin seeds. Toss the seeds in a little cooking oil (olive or canola oil works well). Season the seeds with salt, pepper, paprika or your favorite spice, and spread them out on a baking sheet. Bake the seeds at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30-40 minutes, stirring every ten minutes or so.

This is a great idea for a party snack later on, when you're all curled up to watch a scary movie together - the perfect end to a perfect Halloween party!

Child's Honey Bee Halloween Costume (Size: Small)

A new site offers over 90 days of Holiday tips that will make your Holidays less stressful and more memorable. Be sure to visit this site Right Away. http://www.MagicalChristmasIdeas.com/

Pirates Of The Caribbean Elizabeth Pirate Deluxe Child Costume

Bring Elizabeth, from the Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean, to your home from the Big Screen. The Elizabeth Pirate Costume features a shirt, vest, boot covers and a hat. A great Halloween costume!

Father's Day is coming. And more than likely your gift probably has something to do with sports. At least that is my plan for my dad. But one problem that I've been facing in planning a fantastic Father's Day is that I want to make it memorable. I don't want it to blur with all the other sporting events that he has been to over the years. It needs to stand out, mean something, and make him smile when he thinks back on that day. So, here are a few ideas I came up with to make sure he gets the full sporting events/father's day experience that he deserves.

Foam Finger: Yes, this is imperative. The foam finger is a fan favorite and a classic thing to have at a game. In fact, if you are the one going with him to the game, make sure you get one as well. You can both be silly and have a great time cheering on and routing for your favorite sports teams, whatever they are.

Face Paint: Just like with the foam finger, this one will be a lot of fun. If you are really brave, try to convince your dad to use body paint as well. Let me tell you; he will definitely remember your sports outing if he is wearing enthusiastic body paint supporting his team.

Nasty Hotdog: Well, maybe you enjoy them. But honestly, they are a part of the experience of going to sporting events. It just wouldn't be the same without the infamous low-quality hotdogs.

Tailgate Party: Depending on the preference of your father, you can make this a big thing or just something for the two of you. Either way, you are bound to have a great time , enjoying each other's company.

Sports Pick: Do some research and get your father a baseball betting pick or something like that. He will enjoy keeping track of it and watching how his team fares.

Kodak Moments: Take tons of pictures. It will be easier to recall the memories with pictures. Make sure you get doubles-one for you and one for your father. Hey, if you really want to get mushy/sentimental (depending on how you look at it), frame the pictures and give them to your father for the second part of his father's day gift.

Take Care of All the Details: This may go without saying, but let your father have a worry-free sporting experience. Take care of all of it-all the planning. Just let him relax and enjoy. After all the stress that he had to endure putting up with his children, he deserves a relaxing time, right?

Show your father you care and are grateful for everything that he has done for you and continues to do for you. In a sense, just spoil your dad.

There's nothing like the finished look that a Village with its own train
provides! Almost all of the Villages have train stations, and even if you don't
have one, who cares?! This is, after all, make-believe... The clever Village Nut
who wants a fabulous setup this year will tap into the model railroad train
world for inspiration on train sets and the terrain around them.

When I first decided that my Village needed a public transportation system, I started to look at model railroad sites. The first thing I needed to decide was what size train would look best with my Village and the space I had - a bigger one that looks more proportionate to the people and buildings, or a smaller one that wasn't to scale but was more available and cheaper. Holy Smokes! I thought this would be relatively easy, but I got hit in the face with terms like gauges and scales and 3-rail tracks and electrical issues. I had no idea what these terms meant, and was frustrated by what I thought was an unnecessary amount of technical talk. I just wanted a nice little train for my Village! I didn't want to become a model railroader.

So, just as I put together different buildings and accessories to please myself rather than someone else who had different design ideas, I thought why don't I just get a train that I like and to heck with the scales and gauges! So I did, and I ended up buying a Christmas Train from Bachmann. For the record, it was in HO scale...

For those of you who'd like a little more technical info, I'll just give you a bit. There are two main size references used in model railroading. The first one is Gauge, which is the space between the train track rails. The second is Scale,
which is the proportion that the item is to it's real-life counterpart. For
example, a 1:1 scale means that the item is life-sized. You definitely aren't going to be putting one of these in your Village! Here is some of the more popular train sizes and what they look like:

Gauge HO Gauge: 1" = 87 real-life inches,
or a 1" tall figurine equals a 7.25' real-life person (not very realistic) S Gauge: 1" = 64 real-life inches, or a 1" tall
figurine equals a 5.3' real-life person (closer to reality)
O
Scale:
1" = 48 real-life inches, or a 1" tall figurine equals a 4'
real-life person (reasonably realistic)

G Scale:

1 =

24 real-life inches, or a 1" figurine equals a 2' real-life person (not very realistic)

I've found that most
Villagers I know like the O scale

O Scale trains are the most popular ones out there so the
selection is good. The set looks great in all the Department 56 and similar-sized Villages and
is easy to set up and keep running. This is important if you just want to enjoy
the Village and not have to keep tending it, as the smaller-sized trains have a tendency
to derail! An interesting fact I found was that O Scale trains are considered
collectible, and therefore have the potential to appreciate in value. The
downside is that it is more expensive to buy, and it runs on more expensive
3-rail track (which is electrically safer than the other Scales which run on
2-rail track). The new Lionel Harry Potter Hogwart's Express train set is O
gauge.

HO scale trains come in a large variety of sets, including quite a
few Christmas-decorated sets, and is the most economical way to go. This is nice
if you just want something out-of-the-box to set up. You can get tighter
turns in HO Scale too, if space is an issue. But the smaller size of this scale
makes it out of proportion with most Villages except perhaps small ones like
David Winter Cottages. They tend to be more fragile than their larger
counterparts, and they are fussier about having a level surface to run on. Also
(and this was the deal-breaker for me!) HO Scale trains like to fall
off their tracks easily AND they are a little difficult to put
back on. Lastly, they lose value quickly.

S
gauge
also fits well with most Villages. It doesn't derail easily and
runs on the less expensive 2-rail track. The downside is that there
are fewer models to choose from and they are expensive. The 2-rail track
systems are known to cause some electrical problems.

G gauge
trains are the big ones we're used to seeing go around the Christmas tree (even
if just in the movies!). While many folks consider these to be too large
for Department 56 and similar-sized Villages, I personally like them to run
around the outer perimeter of the village. The train runs on the less expensive
2-rail track and the cars do not derail easily. High-end brands have the
potential to appreciate in price. The downside is that you need a LOT of room
for these, the 2-rail track systems can cause some electrical problems, and they
are EXPENSIVE.

As an FYI, I've found that model railroaders are
SUPERB reality-creators in their train displays. If you've ever gone to a train
store, you've seen the most amazing variety of realistic terrain and landscaping
items you'll ever see. Small bags of rocks of every size and color, fake grass
that looks better than the stuff in your lawn, cinders to go around the tracks,
dirt, trees, moss, shrubs - you name it. Lots of folks are cross-overs
between the train and Village worlds, and their displays are
spectacular.

If you want to have
a realistic display, then you want to have your train and Village items in
roughly the same size category. But the whole point about about Christmas
Village displays is to help bring joy into the Christmas Season. If you get too
bogged down in realism and perfection, you'll miss out on a lot of fun.
Enjoy!

Alice Simpson is a certified personal property appraiser, consignment seller/eBay Trading Assistant, and Christmas Village Nut. Having been addicted to the colorful porcelain lit houses for more than a decade, and always looking for that ONE more thing to add to the Village, she entered the model train world to find a little train to run around the Villages. The frustration in wading through the terminology resulted in this effort to reduce the frustration to other Village lovers.

Alice owns her own business, Great Estates LLC which is located in the great state of WA. She also owns the website dedicated to Village Nuts everywhere, at http://www.christmasvillagesonline.com where you not only will find everything Village-related but also a lot of very cool trains - including the awesome Lionel Harry Potter Hogwarts Express Train - that want a Village of their own. Another thing that will help is to develop you sense of achievement which you can do with you family. Do not wait for the final holiday rush, make a point of ensuring everything is ready.

Pump That Music. What would a party be without music? Now everyone's idea of party music can be different. Maybe your crowd likes pop -- or techno music. But for a Halloween party you'll want to throw in some classic Halloween favorites. Include the music from popular Halloween movies like Scream or even Friday the 13th. Don't forget the Monster Mash -- always a popular favorite. Organize your music ahead of time so you just push and play. Be sure to ask friends to bring along their favorites too so everyone has a chance to listen to their favorite type of music at the Halloween party.

Add Some Special Effects. No Halloween party would be complete without some special effects. You could add some cobwebs in the corners, complete with creepy spiders. Or get into the spooky fog by using some dry ice -- very easy for even beginners to use. There are many Halloween special effects you can purchase that you simply plug in and turn on that are lots of fun. Many are activated by someone walking past them. Check out your local party center for ideas.

Plan a Menu Suited for the Day. Every party needs good food and this includes a Halloween party. If your party is more casual, you could even do something like take out pizza and bowls of yummy snacks in strategic places. Or if your party is more fancy, try for something that really gets attention. The key to Halloween party food is to plan variety and to also be sure there is enough food for everyone to enjoy.

Include Spooky Activities. A Halloween party is the perfect time to tell ghost stories or even to hold a seance. Another fun idea is to have someone give tarot card readings. Or if you plan it right, you can do all three activities at your party! This would be a unique party that everyone would be sure to remember. Halloween is a time when many people are open to trying something a little unique and spooky that they might otherwise not do -- like a seance or a tarot card reading.

Tell Everyone to Dress Up. Who could imagine a Halloween party if people come in regular clothes? Halloween parties are simply meant to be costume parties -- each and every one of them. It can be fun to have a costume contest at your party -- or even a theme for your costumes like couples. There are lots of things that people can do with their costumes. http://www.pumpkinkits.com offers you all the ideas that you need for the best Halloween party ever - prepare to shock your friends!

Speed Racer Deluxe Adult Halloween Costume Size Standard (B883)

Speed Racer Deluxe Adult Halloween Costume Size Standard includes: Jacket, pants and headpiece. Fits up to Size 44.

Decorating your table for Christmas can be as simple or as elaborate as you want to make it. But, there is one primary secret to Christmas table decorations you should always follow.

By adhering to this simple secret it will make your table dcor far more appealing while at the same time making your job easier. By ignoring this concept your table-decorating plan can completely fall apart.

So whats the secret? Well its simple. All you have to do is decide upon a specific color theme and design theme, then stick to it.

Let me explain

Do you want a particular color or colors? People, who especially love Christmas, still rely on the old stand-bys. I will admit that red, green, white, gold and silver are still my favorites and probably always will be.

Perhaps youre in the mood for a wintery look. Simple. Just use white, blue, light shades of purple and youre on your way. Along with candles you can add ornamental snowflakes, little snowmen, or strands of clear beads or snowy white garlands.

If you have a color scheme in your home that you would like to play off of, then that can make it even simpler. You can always find candles, ribbons, napkins, beads, etc. online or at the store. Add touches of winter greenery or tiny Christmas trees to solidify the look.

A Christmas wreath laid in the center of the table can be the beginning of a perfect centerpiece. It can be decorated with any object you may want to use as a theme. If you have no theme in mind other than something special, then ribbons and bows can always come to the rescue. Inside the wreath, place a large candle or several tapers. The tapers can be the same height or differing heights. The choice is yours. Just make certain that the flames or hot wax do not come in contact with anything that could cause a fire. I was at a dinner party once where that happened. We certainly had a lively Christmas party that night!

Hurricane lanterns placed in a row down the center of the table can take the place of a traditional centerpiece. Stemware filled with beads, nuts, berries, glass marbles, or any small festive objects can be used as well. You can use themed pieces to decorate in between. Well use Christmas bells as our example of a theme. Bells can be purchased in packages or they can be purchased already strung on wire. If they are on wire, they can be wrapped around the base of the hurricane lanterns, or you can attach them to ribbon and wrap the ribbon around the lanterns. Long strands of ribbon and beads can flow around the decorations.

Continue to carry out your theme with your table napkins. Use two napkins of different colors for each place setting. Place one napkin on top of the other. You can roll them separately or roll them together, but the important thing is to tie them together. Tie them with a beautiful wired ribbon with the bell attached to the ribbon. Because wired ribbon can be shaped, it is easy to make the perfect size napkin holder. With your napkins inside your ribbon napkin holder, artfully arrange them and place them in the center of each plate. You now have bells on your napkin holders and bells on your table decorations. You can continue the theme with bells tied to the backs of chairs, hanging from the chandelier or attached to your stemware.

Dog Costume - Hot Diggity Dog Halloween Costume (Hot Dog w/Mustard) - Large

HOT DIGGITY DOG: This Halloween, your dog will really be the HOT DOG you always knew he or she could be. This large Costume is topped with Mustard.
Customer Review: I love it!
I searched and searched for my pets hot dog costume and this one was the best because it looks like the mustard is right on them! I loved it and so did my basset hounds!
Customer Review: good size for my corgis
I bought both the mustard and ketchup hotdogs for my two corgis. I agree with other reviewers that the sizing is a bit confusing. The large fits my corgis perfectly, and this breed is not typically considered large dogs, so make sure to measure your dogs before ordering. My dogs are about 20-24 inches from neck to tail, and weigh a little less than 30 lb. I have also added a "customer image" up there on this page so you will have a better idea if you are considering buying this costume (and of course to show off my cute dogs...). Since I didn't want to spend too much money but do want to dress them up for the Halloween, I think this was a good choice. And the shipping was fast!

If you saw your kids watching a show featuring a boy that transforms into aliens, they have probably been watching Ben 10. If you are wondering why they would want to be him this Halloween, or you are not quite sure what this show might be about, here is a summary:

The show features three main characters: Ben Tennyson, his cousin Gwen, and their grandfather Max. The show opens up with Ben and Gwen getting into an argument. Ben then angrily marches off into the woods. While there, he finds a pod on the ground. Upon examination, he notices that a watch-like machine (Omnitrix) is stored inside.

This machine attaches to his arm, and allows him to change into the form of various aliens. Each alien possesses its own special power. The theme behind why the Omnitrix possesses this power is that the creator, Azmuth, designed it so that different species could understand each other better. As Ben gains mastery of the Omnitrix, it is eluded that it increases in size as Ben gains mastery of it (using Ben 10000 as an example).

The first series ended in April of 2008, but the sequel, "Ben 10: Alien Force" picked up immediately after the first series ended. In the sequel, Ben and Gwen appear more mature and proficient in their powers.

Why would my kids want to be Ben 10 this Halloween?

If I were a child, I think I would be in awe that I could turn into all sorts of different aliens with different abilities. My imagination would be running a mile a minute! I would be imagining up adventures for my friends and I to experience in the backyard or in the garage. It would only be natural for them to want to dress like Ben 10 this Halloween so that they can model after their favorite hero! Why would my kids not want to be Ben 10?

Fruity Licious Pumpkin Spice Adult

Includes dress in Pumpkin orange with built in wire hoop at bottom, white boot tops and the fabulous Pumpkin style wig. One size Adult Standard (up to size 8-12). White fishnet pantyhose and gloves not included.
Customer Review: If you're an adult, please don't bother.
This costume runs way to short, literally, it fits more like a hideous shirt than a dress, and the wig is way too small. It looks cute in the image, but in reality, not so much.

For a child Halloween means candy and costumes. For parents it's a matter of safety. What should be a fun and safe time can quickly become a frightening experience if one is unaware of the dangers that can lurk around any corner. So how can you ensure that your child has fun yet remains safe? Below are ten safety tips to help any parent get through the night without breaking a sweat.

1. Stay with your child. Walk in your neighborhood. If your neighborhood is small with only a few doors to knock on - try your local mall.

2. Choose costumes that are light in color, or if your child is a black cat, vampire or witch, have reflective tape on their costume. Don't forget those bikes, skateboards and brooms too!

3. Eat candy when you are at home. If any candy looks tampered with, throw it out immediately. If the candy looks at all suspicious contact your local police department.

4. Avoid wearing masks that can hamper your child's vision. Face make up is the best way to go and can even be fun to apply!

5. Carry a flashlight with you. Leave before it gets dark out, stay on streets that have streetlamps and only go to homes that have their lights turned on.

6. Stay in well-lit areas and carry a flashlight with you. Trick-or-treaters should not go inside homes without a parent accompanying them.

7. For extra safety, organize a Halloween party for children in your neighborhood or attend a neighborhood sponsored party.

8. Remind children to look both ways before crossing the street to check for cars, trucks and low-flying brooms.

9. Make your home safe for trick-or-treaters. Remove all objects around the outside of your home that could easily cause children to trip and fall. Turn your outside light on.

10. Equip your child with a cell phone so that your child knows they can call you - even if you are only walking behind them on the sidewalk while they walk with their friends.

Labor Day is a holiday that has become a popular holiday, over the years, for everyone to get together and celebrate the coming of fall. Labor day was originally supposed to celebrate the ending of summer and the beginning of fall. Now, Labor Day is the last day before summer ends and school starts back in session. This holiday is also a time for families to get together, celebrate, and enjoy their time with each other.

Along with many holidays, the right food is a must for a great occasion and Labor Day isn't any different. The food that people usually associate with Labor Day is barbeque, but there are many other foods that you can prepare to make your holiday great. Barbeque can be a great entre for your occasion because of how easy it is to make. There are also many different ways that you can marinate your barbeque to turn out with different flavors to the meat. You could use lemon pepper and garlic, or some citrus fruits to add a sweeter flavor to your meat. There are also many types of meats that you can use to barbeque if you have different palates in your family. Some members of your family might like to have different types of food depending on what they normally feel is barbeque. Meats such as beef, chicken, steak, and sausage can be used when you are grilling out with your family.

Another food that is usually associated with barbeque is potato salad. Although this sounds like an insignificant type of food, most people will associate this type of food with a barbeque. Potato salad can be mixed up and changed depending on what type of flavors you are looking for. Many people use different types of seasonings to flavor their potato salad in different ways. Some people use seasonings such as relish and red pepper to add a different kind of kick to your potato salad.

Cobblers also tend to be a summer time favorite for those looking for a dessert for their barbeque. There are many different flavors that you could add to your barbeque using different types of fruits and fillings. Peach cobbler tends to be a popular flavor for those who live near places where peaches are grown. There are also other flavors such as cherry and apple that will make a great ending to your Labor Day barbeque.

Iron Man Super Deluxe Adult Costume

Includes: Jumpsuit, mask, gloves, and shoe covers. This is an officially licensed Irom Man costume.

Ah! It is that time of the year again. The magic time when most of us have been close to exhaustion from all the situations we have been through during the old year and we are ready to begin afresh. Blessed is he who invented the concept of the New Year for he has given us hope just when we thought we couldnt take it any longer.

Even for those whose old year was a good one, the idea of a clean slate is short of a miracle.

So here we are at the end of December. The first of January approaching fast and furious and we begin to think about all the great things that we would like to be, do, or have for the next 12 months of our lives.

We keep thinking about this and that, most especially about dieting and exercising, which we can certainly take control, but the rest... we only wish that our life circumstances will change for the better: a better job, a better pay, a loving relationship. Our wishes remain floating in the air and, though we have great hopes we dont take action into making them come true.

For us to succeed, we must write them down. We need to make a list.

So here is my suggestion to you:

1. Separate your wishes into 4 categories, which are the ones the bulk of our wishes fall into: health, relationships, prosperity, and lifestyle. Then, subdivide them into 3 categories each, like this:

a. Health: weight management, nutrition, exercise

b. Relationships: life partner, friends, family

c. Prosperity: finances, business and/or job, possessions

d. Lifestyle: recreation and fun, culture and travel, self-growth and spirituality

2. For each category, brainstorm and write everything that you would absolutely love to have, do, and be.

3. For each item that you wrote, provide details, in a way that you can quantify. For instance: "I will be more loving towards my spouse" does not say much. But, if you can figure out ways in which you can be more loving, write them down with a number. For example: "I will bring my husband coffee in bed every Sunday;" "I will exercise for 30min, 2x/ week." Things like these.

Dont forget to live room for surprises and miracles, because they most likely happen.

4. Visualize the outcome of the things you have written down. How does it feel having received them? Dont lock the outcome; remember that there is always room for improvement.

5. Write down your declarations with a date and the term "I will." For example: "I will bring coffee in bed to my husband every Sunday beginning now." Or, I will weight 120 lb by December of 2007.

6. At the end, write: "This or something better, with gratitude." Date and sign the list.

7. Finally ask yourself the question: What are the infinite possibilities that all this will come into my life in the year of 2007?

8. Dont try to answer the question. Fold your list and put it in a place where you can open at the end of the year. Go about your life and when the time comes open the list up and start checking your blessings.

Happy New Year!

Sexy Treasure Hunt Pirate Wench Halloween Costume

Halloween Costume Treasure Hunt Wench Incl Dress With Double Lace Up & Skull Printed Skirt

Snow White is one of the most beloved of all the fairy tale princesses. She represents innocence, faith, friendship, tolerance, and true love. Snow White has been a popular costume for young girls, but today the Snow White Halloween adult costume is all the rage.

While you can simply go to your local department store or shop online and find a Snow White costume, it is a lot of fun to actually make your own. If you have a little girl, you might want to make a child's version and an adult version and go trick-or-treating together.

Making a Snow White Halloween adult costume is not as difficult as you may think. If you are open to putting a little time and effort into it, you are sure to have a Halloween costume fit for the storybooks.

You will need to have access to a sewing machine, a blue t-shirt, some yellow, blue and red fabric, a red headband, a black wig, flowers, and a shiny red apple. When it comes to the amount of fabric, your best bet is to get a yard or two, which will be enough to fit just about any adult woman.

The first thing you will make is the blue bodice of the dress by cutting off the sleeves of the t-shirt. Use the blue fabric to make puffy sleeves for the dress. Sew stripes of red onto the sleeves. Next, you will want to assemble the skirt, which is comprised of the yellow fabric only. Remember to measure your waist so that the skirt actually fits you! Then, you will sew the skirt to the bodice.

Once you have constructed Snow White's dress, put it on. Don't forget to put on your shiny black wig, your red headband, and take your flowers and apple with you. For an extra touch, make your cheeks rosy and wear red lipstick for a truly royal appearance.

In order to make the best Snow White Halloween adult costume, don't get just any red, blue, and yellow fabric. Your best bet is to get a satin-like material to make the costume seem just like a princess' dress. A sure way to get the sleeves to stay in a puffy shape before you sew them onto the blue t-shirt, think about sewing an elastic band on the opposite end (you'll sew the other end onto the bodice.)

If you take a little time and effort to put together your Snow White Halloween adult costume, you will definitely become the belle of the ball. If trick-or-treating is in your plan for the evening and it is chilly where you live, think about wearing a pair of stockings or leg warmers that match your outfit underneath.

You can also wear a nude or flesh-toned long sleeve shirt or sweater underneath the bodice. Don't let a little cold ruin your night as Snow White.
